Kick wall - What for?
The main task of a kick wall is to protect the rider and horse. In order to fulfil this task, the kick wall must be inclined at least so that no parts of the rider's or horse's body can come into contact with the kick wall or with parts of the arena, supports, structures, arena mirrors, stands, etc. This applies both to normal riding and to extreme situations such as panic or fright.
