Quality in riding lessons - appreciation for horse and rider

Learning to ride - this is also possible in later adulthood. With appropriate training, declines in endurance, mobility and strength as well as age-related limitations can not only be halted, but also improved. Individual factors such as fitness, health and lifestyle must be taken into account alongside age when learning to ride.

Good riding lessons cost money, because a horse is not a piece of equipment, not a machine, and animal welfare and horse-friendly handling should be a matter of course for every riding student and every riding school, because this is the only way to make riding fun, because it is a togetherness.

Riding doesn't just start in the indoor arena or riding arena, but in the paddock, the pasture or in the stable. This includes a respectful greeting, knowledge about the soul, handling and behaviour of the horse, preparing the horse with grooming and saddling as well as post-riding preparation with cool-down, washing, drying under the horse solarium, but also knowledge about feeding and illnesses.
